Evaluation of Photoshop

During upper sixth media production we were tasked to create a media portfolio including a film magazine cover and film posters. For this we decided to use Adobe photoshop to create these media forms. In my preliminary use of photoshop I was able to pick up the basics of photoshop fairly quickly. As I played about with the different functions available I was able to use some complex ones such as cropping a photo using "magnetic lasso". The power of editing available on photoshop has allowed us to create high end media to a professional standard. Overall photoshop can be tricky to use at times but overall allows amateurs such as myself with no previous experience produce professional standard posters.
